I am encountering this problem after I installed the Goldmine 6.7 and the client has a 2 licenses for this application. Please help for this one. The error was - License file is unaccesible or read only. Error description: Access is denied.

First thing I would do would be to reboot the systems involved. Assuming that GM is on a server, make sure that your mappings are correct and that the workstation is properlly mapped to GM. Also double check the settings in gm.ini.

In re-reading this, what is the relationship between GM 7.5 and 6.7?

I have seen this many times when you have used a mapped drive, and the Workstation has lost the mapping for one reason or another.

Yup, Im with DJ on this one in that it is almost certainly the drive mapping has gone south on the workstation. Sometimes (and I have to admit I dont know why), when logging into Windows, it will map the drive, but if you try to open it it will ask for login credentials. If this is the case then GoldMine will not be able to access it until you log into the mapped drive.
